I call upon you, oh god Hypnos

Bring me to your palace in Erebos

Run away with me from all the chaos

Lay me down on your doss.

Let my eyelids droop under my brows

Sing your lullabies until I drowse

Keep me away from all the soughs

And those things that can make me rouse.
