Tribute to Fire

In a story of a long time ago

god Prometheus stole a dancing glow

of bright red, orange, and yellow

a spring where strong passion and energy flow.

So magical yet so dangerous

What are you holding, O god Prometheus?

So hot and so dry

A Dancing Spirit on high

Touch it? Don’t give it a try

or else it will give you a painful cry.

O, Fire…

A Dancing Spirit of bright yellow, orange, and red

People stand before you in dread

Your hunger must constantly fed

So your warmth will continuously spread.

O, Fire…

A Spirit of Light

In the darkness of the night

Make this place so bright tonight

Be our shining knight.

O, Fire…

A Spirit of Passion

Give us your protection

Not our destruction

Don’t lick your tongue on our possession.
